It's hardy, widespread indoor plant name also «the Spanish bayonet». Without any doubt, the Yucca is an exotic plant.

Yuccas grow in the southeast of the USA and on Canary Islands.

As "wonderful tree" the Yucca is well-known and also very popular. Presumably it has received this name thanks to that on the piece of the trunk at first there are leaves, and then start to develop roots.

The Yucca maintenance in rooms doesn't represent any problems. They transfer dry air, the sun, and also penumbra. Thanks to ability of the trunk to reserve the moisture, Yuccas don't demand frequent watering. In the summer each 3 weeks is necessary to feed up the plant by fertilizers.

The basic wrecker - web pincers. At wrong careing leaves turn yellow, and the trunk starts to decay. Stagnation of water is harmful for roots.
