Being very attractive on appearance and simultaneously undemanding plant, Schefflera occupies in assortment of indoor plants an appreciable place.

This beautiful plant occurs from Australia, Taiwan New Guinea. On the native land of Schefflera - a huge tree to 40 m. in height, becoming covered in the spring with reddish flowers.

On adult plants there are leaves in length to 30 sm. with 16 leaflets. From again appeared kinds the most graceful is Schefflera elegantissima, reaching in room to 2 m. in height.

Schefflera is a plant which prefers a golden mean: not so warmly and not so coldly, it isn't so damp and it is not so dry, not the sun and not the shade. To draughts and sharp temperature drops Schefflera reacts by falling ofleaves.

Schefflera attacks by web ticks. At wrong leaving on leaves appears staintivity.
