Saxifraga
Saxifraga, the basic sort of the family with the same name, unites approximately 315 kinds extended mainly in high mountains of a moderate zone, whence they were taken to us as plants for stone gardens.
Native land of Saxifraga stolonifera are Japan and China. This plant is entered into culture in 1771. In a wild kind grows in crevices of rocks in mountains of Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and in the Pyrenees. However thanks to it's charming flowers, appearing in June, it is quite often offered in the beginning of summer as pottery culture for the house and a balcony.
Saxifraga requires light considerable quantity. At a lack of light leaves get out of the habitual shape and become pale, fade. Constant inflow of fresh air and absence in immediate proximity other plants is desirable also. From the beginning of the period of active growth and till August soil in pots support constantly humidified, then depending on maintenance temperature (more or less cool place) plants water more moderately.
At observance of all rules of leaving, the plant practically don't ill. From the outside, with other plants, on Saxifraga is possible to bring wreckers. More often it is a plant louse and web tick.
