The native land - tropics and subtropics of Central and the South America . This is decorative-blossoming hothouse plant - in the nature reaches 5 m. in height, in house conditions about 2 m.

In the summer the temperature should be in limits 20-25°C, in the winter optimum maintenance at 16-18°C, a minimum 14°C.

Plumeria is photophilous plant, high-grade solar illumination in the summer is necessary, but at the hottest time in the afternoon is required to make shade.

Watering should be plentiful during the summer period, the earth should not dry up. Since the autumn till early spring having watered much more moderately, but doesn't stop even if the plant dumps leaves.

Plumeria loves damp air, therefore Plumeria periodically must be sprayed, but so that the water doesn't get on the flowers.

Breeds by the shanks which have been cut off in the spring.
